Emma Mary Pitcher, 79, of Paragould passed away February 27, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was born December 28, 1932 at Stanford , Arkansas to the late Dick and Mattie Kersey. Mrs. Pitcher was self employed and loved her work and gardening.Preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Larry Edward Pitcher; one brother, Orvil Kersey; and one sister, Florie Page.She is survived by her husband, Vondia  Pitcher; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Andrea Pitcher and Vondia  Glen and Lavada Pitcher;  daughter and son-in-law, Patty and David Hyde; three brothers, Melvin, Jim, and Ray Kersey; two sisters, Rosetta Gray and Minnie Brewer all of Paragould; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and two great – great grandchildren.Visitation will be Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Dick Blackford, Kenneth Camp, and Tommy Pitcher officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
