Ester "Marie" Snearly, 74, of Lafe, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024. She was born September 30, 1950, to Harry and Mary Hoggard. Marie was a faithful and devoted Christian. She enjoyed watching her animals that included her cows, chickens, and especially her ducks.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Snearly; and one grandchild.

Survivors include her son, Gary Vickers; daughters, Karen Thompson (Thurman), Cathy Torres; brother, Mike Hoggard; stepchildren, Peggy Sharp (Danny), Jeff Snearly; and numerous grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 6, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Lafe Baptist Church. The funeral service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Lafe Baptist Church with David Poe officiating. Burial will follow at Sweet Moments Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Marie wishes are any memorial tributes be made in the form of The Lord's Refuge. Donations can be made to First National Bank The Lord's Refuge.

Eric Newsom, Albert Nebo, William Reed, Steve Hudspeth, Ron Hudspeth, and Logan Stewart will serve as pallbearers.
