Floyd Scott, 52, passed away June 27, 2017, at UAMS. He was born April 8, 1965, to Douglas and Mary Scott. Floyd loved being an auto mechanic and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Scott and a nephew Drew Scott.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Scott; the mother of his children, Duronda McCarroll; two daughters and sons in law, Lacey and Dustin Fender and Hannah Scott; two brothers, Rodney Scott and Eddie Ray Scott; two sisters, Patricia Scott and Shelia McKay; and two grandchildren, Emma and Graden Fender.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 29, 2017, from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Patrick Graham officiating. Burial will follow at New Liberty cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gary Ivey, KarryDon Smith, Houston Steele, Joseph Cockrum, Delbert Brown and Eric Dawson. Honorary Pallbearers are Terry Simms and Jimmy Lowe.
