Frances "Granny" Taylor, 79 of Paragould passed away December 17, 2011 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born February 9th, 1932 in Dutton Arkansas to the late Sam Penn and Sythan (Weatherby) Penn. She was a member of Walcott Baptist Church and found much pride and joy in helping others.Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Garnett F. Taylor; one brother; one sister and one great grandson, Demetric Ritche'.She is survived by her two daughters, Michele Green of Abilene, Texas and Jennifer Taylor of Paragould Ark.; one brother, Roland Penn of Missouri; two sisters, Bessie Skirvin and Ruth Ingraham of Missouri; five grandchildren, Cathleen and Mark Green, Michael Chambers all of Abilene Texas, Daniel and Tanya Freytag of Paragould Ark.; four great-grandchildren, Mylic Ritche' of Abilene Texas, Tiffiny Freytag, Alexis Resendez and Christian Ramirez of Paragould Ark.A Memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December, 21st at Phillips Funeral Home.
