Freda Mae Yow, 88, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021. She was born May 18, 1933, to Clint and Erma Hooker. She was a member of Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church and worked until retiring from Emerson.
Freda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Yow; brothers, Elgin Hooker and Mutt Hooker; and sisters, Opal Irvin and Catherine Hyde.
Survivors include her numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be held on Monday, June 14, at 2:00 p.m. at Linwood Cemetery with Leon Harvey officiating.
