Freddie Adams, Sr., 74, of Walcott, departed this world unexpectedly Monday, December 9, 2019.  He was born October 11, 1945, in Paragould, to Cecil and Alberta (Jones) Adams.  Fred was a Vietnam Veteran, "retired" truck driver, and avid junk collector, regardless if he needed it or not.  In Fred's 74 years, he never met a stranger and blessed us all with his gift of gab.  He was a beloved Pepaw to his grandchildren and friend to all that knew him.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Adams; and sister, Brenda (Adams) Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Charlotte (Pollock) Adams of the home.  Fred is also survived by his sons, Freddie Adams, Jr. of Dalton, Arkansas, and Stephen Adams of Porter, Texas; daughters, Amber (William) Brock of Overland, Kansas, and Abbigail (Ridge) Adams of Couch, Missouri; grandchildren, Jeremy (Audra) Adams of Paragould, Ali (Curtis) Seamans all of Dalton, Arkansas, and Katie Brock of Overland, Kansas; great grandchildren, Emma Ward and Kolt Seamans of Dalton, Arkansas, Karson and Parker Adams of Paragould, and another great grandson due in March.  Fred is also survived by his brother and sister in law, Larry and Judy Adams of Henderson, Nevada, niece and nephews, and a host of close friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Monday, December 16, at 11:00 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Steve Wall, Josh Sisk, Scott King, Ricky Pollock, Wes Johnston, and Wade Johnston.  Honorary pallbearers include Jeremy Adams, Curtis Seamans, Ridge Burke, Billy Doughton, and William Downs.
