Freddie L. Ellington passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at his home. He was born September 15, 1948, to John and Mary Francis Ellington, as well as his Twin, Fredia. Freddie loved working on cars, especially his antique cars that he built himself. You could always find him out in the garage working. He retired from Emerson Electric after 39 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Francis (McGlathlin) Ellington; sister, Fredia (Ellington) Jones; niece, Kimberly Michelle Jones; and brother, Grover VanWinkle, JR.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years of the home, Dora; son, John K. (Amber) Ellington; granddaughter, Fredia S. Ellington; sister, Mary Ann (Alvin) Riney of Pocahontas; brother, Leon (Charlene) Ellington of Pocahontas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
