Garry Lee Brown, 73, of Paragould, passed away, May 3, 2016, at Greene Acres Nursing Facility. He was born, September 4, 1942, in Mounds, Arkansas, to the late George W. and Mildred Lee Brown. Mr. Brown loved the Lord and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. A car salesman for Mercedes and Ford, Garry at one time, was one of the top five salesmen for Ford. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved his dog, Prissy, and especially his grandkids.

Preceding Mr. Brown in death were his parents; brothers, Glen, Clarience, James and Robert Brown.

Survivors include his sons and daughter in law, Keith and Shonda Brown, and Shane Brown; daughters and son in law, Melinda and Mike DeFries, and Debbie Brown; brother, Jerry Brown; grandkids, Kyle Brown, Tony Elias, Garrett Brown, Tasha Craine, Nicole Jones and Lillian Brown; great grandkids, Justin Craft, Jasmine Banks, Carson, Tierra, Sean and Trey Craine.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 5, 2016, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 6:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Jerry Parker officiating.
