Gary Joe Roberts, 74, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020.  He was born July 8, 1946, in Marmaduke, Arkansas, to Charles and Edith Roberts.  Gary was a U.S. Navy veteran that served on the U.S.S. Lexington for 2 years.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Violet Rippy Roberts; brothers, William (Bill) Roberts, Harold Roberts, and Jerry Roberts; sisters, Louise Sitz and Ella Raspberry.

Survivors include his wife, Marissa (Ann) Roberts; sons, Joshua Roberts and Casey Charles Roberts; daughter, Niki Jo Carey; sister, Norma Keistler; and grandchildren, Andrew Nelson Roberts, Peter John Roberts, and Tilly Caroline Carey.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 22, from 1 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service with military honors will begin at 2 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with John T. Horton officiating.
