Gary Saffell, 73, of Paragould, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. He was born August 20, 1951, to Floyd and Geneva Saffell. Gary tinkered with everything and was always making jokes. He was a good brother, loving father, and loved spending time with his family.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy Saffell; brother, Larry Saffell; and daughter, Sherrie Thomason.

Survivors include his sons, Edward Saffell, Joey Wright; daughter, Bridgett Cummings; sisters, Patsy Bryant, Linda Bryant (Charles); grandchildren, Hailey Brown, Devin Letson, Rachil Wright, Josey Wright; and great-grandchildren, Arrow Brown, Ella Brown, Carol Wright, and Logan Burnside.

A graveside service under the direction Phillips Funeral Home will be held on Friday September 6, at 10:00 a.m. at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery with Jody Faulkner officiating.

Edward Saffell, Michael Bryant, Kaymen Bryant, Kendrix Bryant, Joey Wright, and Korie Bryant will serve as pallbearers.
