Geneva June Thompson - June 1, 2013 Geneva June Thompson, 84, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013. She was born July 12, 1928 in Trumann, AR to Walker and Cora Johnson. She attended Woods Chapel General Baptist Church and loved gospel singing, cooking and spoiling her grandchildren.Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Fred Thompson; four sisters and six brothers. She is survived by one son, Jerry (Kathy) Thompson of Jonesboro; one daughter, Brenda Brazeal of Jonesboro; one sister, Hazel Peck of Louisiana; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00pm Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Woods Chapel General Baptist Church in Brookland, AR. Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm with Rick Hathcoat officiating. Burial will take place at Rock Hill Cemetery at a later date.
