George Allen Helton, 57, of Marmaduke passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.  He was born September 20, 1957 at Youngstown, OH to George and Anell Helton.  George was an avid hunter.  He was an employee of Tenaris Steel Mill for 18 years.  George loved being around children.

Preceding him in death was his father, and brother, Donnie Helton.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Helton; mother, Anell Helton; sons and daughters in law, Deslin and Malinda Gargus of Hartford, MI, Tony and Debbie Gargus of Marmaduke, and Lindell and Sherry Gargus of Bangor, MI; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Troy, Nedra, Tegan, Tiffany, Darion, Dakota, Chad, D.J., Trevor, and Dana; and several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Phillips Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 11:00a.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 at Phillips Funeral Home with William Allen officiating.  A committal service will take place at 2p.m. Monday at Birdeye, AR at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
