George Allan Johnson, 69, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023.  He was born October 28, 1954, in Paragould.  As a farmer by trade, George loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, looking for arrowheads, playing cards and pool.  George was always eager to help others and never met a stranger.

George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Alice Johnson; brothers, Larry Johnson, Gary Johnson, and Johnny Johnson; niece, Jennifer McDorman; nephews, Michael Johnson and Benny Conn.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Belinda Johnson; sons, Tenoy Woodard and Timothy Bryant; daughters, Amber Johnson, Cecile Johnson, Dakota Hanks (Robert), Dana Edwards, Nyoka Griffith (Isaah), O'Shie Lane; brothers, Roger Johnson (Janet) and Charlie Johnson (Carolyn); sisters, Nancy Damron, Cheryl Conn, Kay Whitley (Art), Shelia McClish (Tim); sisters-in-law, Linda Johnson and Earline Johnson; grandchildren, Bryan, Sidney, Mya, Rebekah, Connor, Kennedy, Bexley, Laker, Brantley, Wyatt, Rhiley, Ermias, Legacie, and Julius; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 28, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Jesse Dollars officiating.  Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.
