Gil Darter, 73, of Paragould, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was born February 12, 1947, R. W. and Rita Williams. Gil worked until retiring from the Arkansas Highway Department. She loved gambling and Bunco. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and watching derbies.
Gil was preceded in death by her parents and son, Craig Darter.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Carol Darter; daughter and son in law, Kellie and Rick Cole; brother and sister in law, Delmer and Bonnie Williams; grandchildren, Tasha Cole, Taneka Cole; and great-grandchildren, Tylane Cole, Luca Cole, Allysia Cole, and Trae Cole.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 28, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 29, at 10:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Dennis Strope officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
Mitch Baldwin, Patrick Cole, Steve Myatt, Chris Bateman, Todd West, and Dalton West will serve as pallbearers.
Lasting memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
