Glenda Faye Hanks, 82, of Marmaduke, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. She was born December 16, 1939, to Bruce and Irene Williams. Glenda loved to cook for her family. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and loved butterflies and cardinals. She was a faithful QVC watcher. Glenda was enjoyed telling stories about her family and was a giver and nurturer to them.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sam Hanks; and brother, Leon Williams.
Survivors include her son, Jim Gentry (Laura); daughter, Terri Tankersley; sisters, Sue Wells, Brenda Jo Cude; grandchildren, Kristi, Elizabeth, Justin, Hollie, Brittney; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 7, at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with David Poe officiating. Burial will follow at Lulu Cemetery.
