Glenna Jean Whitlow, 80, of Paragould, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020. She was born December 27, 1939, in Strawberry, Arkansas, to Eugene and Polly Mason. To all who knew her she was calm waters in stormy seas. She never refused to help anyone in need with all that she was able. She cared for all of us, both body and soul. She never missed wishing you Happy Birthday. We all knew her as mom or memaw. She was always there. She was the rock of our family. Glenna will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Polly Mason, and sisters, Emma Sue Smelser and Margaret Price.

Survivors include her children, David Whitlow of Alaska, Tresa Whitlow of Texas, and Kevin Whitlow of Paragould; 9 grandchildren; and 16 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 20, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. A procession will leave for Milligan Campground Cemetery in Strawberry, Arkansas, at 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Milligan Campground Cemetery with Dennis Strope officiating.
