Harold Gene Curry, 78, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019. He was born April 11, 1941, to David and Myrtle Curry. Harold was a member of New Bethel Assembly of God church where he served as superintendent and taught Sunday school. He liked to listen to and sing gospel music. Harold was a farmer and loved technology.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bonnye Griffin; and daughter, Michelle Curry.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Gloria Curry; son and daughter in law, Stacy and Amy Curry; daughter and son in law, Ginger and Steve Hyde; grandchildren, Brittany Spence (Barry), Andrew Hyde; and great-granddaughter, Lily Spence.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 17, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with B. R. Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Larry Gilbee, Cecil Gladish, Andrew Hyde, Steve Hyde, Darrel Burnett, Hunter Lewis, and Scott Rogers.
