Helen C. "Forkum" Lenderman, 94, of Walnut Corner went to be with the Lord, May 21, 2011 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born May 1, 1917 to Dave and Nellie Forkum. She was the oldest member of Light Church of Christ. She loved her flowers, gardening, going to church and spending time with her family. She married the love of her life, Joe Lenderman on October 20, 1934. Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; two brothers Harold and Bufford Forkum. She is survived by two sons, Bill Lenderman of Walnut Corner and Clifford (Caroyln) Lenderman of Jonesboro; two daughters, Elnora (Lloyd) Hefner of Walnut Corner and Mildred Dennis of Paragould; eight grandchildren, Shannon Lenderman, Lesa Lewis, DeRhonda Lindsay, Debbie Snyder, Kathy Proffitt and Keith Hefner; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dub and Bob Forkum both of Paragould. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM, Monday, May 23, 2011 at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in the Center Hill Chapel at Phillips Funeral Home with Sam Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Knot Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shannon Lenderman, Dwight Lewis, Keith Hefner, Ricky Dennis, Jeff Snyder and Richie Brady. Honorary pallbearers are Colton Lenderman, Clayton Lenderman, Austin Brady, Cody Snyder, Casey Dennis and Aubrey Harris.
