Helen Willcoxson, 88, of Paragould, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. She was born July 31, 1934. Helen ran a cat rescue from her home and loved to travel. She worked until retiring from G. M. in Flint, MI. She enjoyed cooking, grilling, shopping, and meeting her friends for lunch. She loved to spend time in her vegetable and flower garden.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Woodson and Nettie Smith; husband, Samuel Andrew Willcoxson; sisters, Violet Boyle, Clara Graham, Verna Ekstedt, and Geraldine Mullins; brother, Curtis Smith; and son, James Noble.

Survivors include her daughters, Nora Simino, Joyce Carranza, and Bobbie DeMott; sister, Pansy Schneidt; grandchildren, Jodi Lynn Wollitz (Charles), Brett Gregory Couch, Brandon Joseph Fayling, Nathan Allen, Danielle Carranza, and Layna Carranza; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Dylan; and great-great-grandson, Edward.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 22, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Thursday, February 23, at 10:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Nathan Gramling officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
