Henry Dewayne Jones, 76, of Paragould, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020.  He was born December 12, 1944, in Paragould, to Dave and Maggie Jones.  Dewayne was a United States Army Veteran.  He was a talented carpenter and he enjoyed playing cards.  Dewayne was an avid fisherman that enjoyed sharing his catch at family fish fry's.

Dewayne was preceded in death by his parents; children, Freddie Joe Boyd, Keith Boyd, Stanley Boyd, and Lisa Boyd; and siblings, Darrell Jones, Jimmy Jones, Robin Jones, and Anthony Jones.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Patsy Jones; brother, David (Cheryl) Jones of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; sisters, Katrena (Stan) Hill, Gledia (Gary) Thomas, and Shenia (Andy) Ford and sister in law, Michele Jones all of Paragould; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thank you for all of your help to Vickie Michelle Nolen and Mistie French Blanton.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 31, from noon until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Breck Freeman officiating.  Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
