Ira Davis, 99, of Paragould, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020. He was born July 19, 1921, to Clarence and Agnes Davis. Ira loved to play music and enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was pastor of Bard Free Worship. Ira was a real jokester and always enjoyed a good arguement.
Ira was preceded in death  by his parents; wife, Juanita Davis; siblings, Carl Davis, Jack Davis, and Rosie Hazlewood; son, Terry Davis; grandchildren, Christopher Pagen, Hugh Craig III, Joe Rooks, Lisa Ogles, and Angela Roper.
Survivors include his son, Trent Davis; daughters, Aletha Ogles (Wayne), Stella Lakey (Robert), Shirley Lynn (Dave), Vanessa Williams, Tracy Cobbs Woods (Tim); grandchildren, Rhonda Bolton, Michael Ogles, Darrell Jaques, Stanley Novacinski, Tia Davis, Micha Miller, Jeremy Miller, Derek Williams, Jarred Thomas, Joshua Thomas, and Eric Davis; and numerous great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 13, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Tommy Newman officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
