Jackson Ray Shepherd, 17, of Paragould, passed from this life to his heavenly home on Thursday, May 5, 2022. He was born February 10, 2005. Jackson loved playing video games, watching Star Wars, and superhero movies. He was always thinking of others above himself and loved to pray for others.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ken Shepherd.

Survivors include his father, Jonathan Shepherd (Jessica); mother, Autumn Shepherd; paternal grandmother, June Shepherd; maternal grandparents, Sunny and Keith McMinn, Gary and Debbie Caudle; maternal great-grandmother, Jo Ann Gassaway; sister, Madilyn Shepherd; stepbrother, Max Justus; aunts and uncles, Daniel Caudle (Sarah), Gary Caudle (Sara), Jonathan (Kayla) Caudle, Bethany Caudle, Alfred Curtis, Summer (Jeremy) Tacker, Samantha (Ben) Loy, Chris (Laura) Shepherd, Amy (Shawn) Whitlow; and a host of cousins and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 9, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Jody Faulkner officiating.
