Jacob Daniel Reeves, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on July 21, 2026, in Paragould, Arkansas, the town where his life began on September 6, 1983.
Born to Jessie Reeves and Judy Jones, Jacob grew up surrounded by a close-knit family whose bonds remained strong throughout his life. He was the cherished husband of Melody Reeves, with whom he built a loving home and shared countless joyful moments. Jacob was a devoted father to his two daughters, Julie Reeves and Lillian Reeves, of whom he was immensely proud and for whom he had the deepest affection.
Jacob’s career as a manager at Walmart Supercenter in Paragould was marked by a steadfast dedication that earned him the respect and gratitude of both colleagues and customers. Known for his work ethic and integrity, he was someone others could always depend upon.
Away from work, Jacob found peace and fulfillment in the beauty of the outdoors. He liked to fish and hike, passions that allowed him to spend time in nature, which he dearly loved. These quiet moments, often shared with family, were some of the memories he treasured most. He was also an enthusiastic player of Magic The Gathering, delighting in the camaraderie and strategizing that the game brings.
Above all, Jacob valued family. In his spare time, he could always be found in the company of those he loved most. He leaves behind his mother, Judy Jones; his wife, Melody Reeves; his daughters, Julie and Lillian Reeves; his sister, Jessica Vines; his half-brothers, Keith, Troy, and Jamie Reeves; half-sisters, Judy Hernandez, Debbie Rowell, Lissa Reeves; and step-sister, Nicole Saunders (Mike). Their lives were enriched by his kindness, patience, and steadfast love.
Jacob was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Reeves, and his step-father, Phillip Jones, whose memories he always held dear.
