James Shelton Crow, III, passed from this life on November 16, 2023. He was born on August 3, 1955, to James Crow, Jr and Rosa Garner Crow. James loved his family and kids. He was also an Army Veteran, that enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Hunting and fishing also brought a lot of joy to James' life.

James is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Pamela Smith, and Jamsey Roberts.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Crow of 41 years; sons, Jerimy (Amanda) Crow, Jeffrey (Laura) Crow, and Ray (Linda) Dowdy; sisters, Renee (Chesley) Isom, Betty (David) Hendrix, Kathy (Ellis) Henson, and Gracie Anderson; grandchildren, Trevor Bateman, Austin Crow, Michael Crow, Maranda (Brandon) Crow, Kaylee Crow, Jacklynn Crow, Abbigail Crow, Jillian Crow, McKenzie Champion, and Natalie Champion; great- grandchild Isaiah Shelton.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 18, from 2:00p.m. until service time at 3:00p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Dale Noe officiating. Burial will follow at Brown's Chapel Cemetery.

Rick McDaniel, Carl Scherdin, Charlie Stone, Wendell King, Charlie Hinson, and Randy Wright will serve as pallbearers.

Curtis Snyder and Donnie Carr will serve as honorary pallbearers.
