James LaRoyce McDonald, 65, of Paragould, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021. He was born June 12, 1955, to James McDonald and Virginia Backlund. James was a member of Greater Vision Church and enjoyed cooking and going to church.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Kwela McDonald; mother, Virginia Backlund; sons, Jeremie McDonald and Shane McDonald; daughters, Virginia Loftesness, Jane Smith, Daniellea McDonald; brothers, Willie McDonald, Chris McDonald, and Michael McDonald; and grandchildren, Desiree Davis, Aurora Montano, Hasana Montano, and Madison Snyder.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 5, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Greater Vision Church. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Greater Vision Church with Rick Ethridge officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery.
