James Robert Paskel, 71, of Paragould, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018. He was born November 16, 1946, to Pete and Betty Paskel. James' biggest love was acting. It started in high school and carried on through his entire life. James was involved with Greene County Fine Arts Council and loved to help in any way. His next love was his family. James chose to stay at home and take care of his mother until she passed. There is no greater love.

James was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anna Katherine Paskel.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John and Merry Paskel; and two nieces, Alyssa and Caila.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 2, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. A private burial will be at a later date.
