James Dodge Tate, 55, on January 18, 2014 the Lord called him home. He was born July 24, 1953 to the late Billie Joe and Ruth Tate in Ness City, KS. James loved antiques, playing with his dog and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents.James is survived by his wife Vickie Tate; two step sons and daughter-in-law, Shane and Brittany Boozer and Kris and Diana Boozer; brothers and sisters, LaDonna Broadaway, Natalie Stricklin, Tim Tate, Shannon Fannuchi, Lawana Tate and Tom Tate; four grandchildren, Hunter, Jacob, Landon, and Zaccery Norman, and five step grandchildren, Zoie, Jesse, Kaylie, Banx and Kamri Boozer; and father and mother in law, Larry and Mable Collins. The family will receive friends from 3 - 4 p.m. on January 22, 2014 at Phillips Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.
