Larry Jason Moore, 46, of Paragould, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023. Jason was born March 15, 1977, to Larry "Pop" and Lou Moore. Jason was an avid fisherman, hunter, scuba diver, and drag racer.  He enjoyed working with his hands, whether it be in the yard, at the farm, or around the house. He enjoyed time with his family at their cabin at Calico Rock. Jason was a hard worker; he began his career working for tips as a shoeshine boy at Danny Shields' US Male. Jason loved his family dearly. He was a member of Union Central Church of Christ.  Jason was a giver and loved helping others. It did not matter what someone needed, he was always there to lend a helping hand. His last act of kindness was donating his organs to save at least ten other lives. Jason was a true HERO.

Survivors include his wife, Courtney Moore of 9 years; son, Sawyer Jase Moore; parents, Larry "Pop" and Lou Moore; brother, Jake (Amy) Moore; aunt, Lynda Dickinson, nephews and nieces, Lane and Gemma Moore, Joseph, Nicholas, Aiden, and Chase Andrews; cousins, Melanie (John) Gamble, Jennifer (Shanon) Anthony, Jordan Mays, Maggie Mays, and Ava Anthony; father and mother in-law, Bill and Diane Andrews; and brother in-law, Tyler (Cassandra) Andrews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 13, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Phillips Funeral Home on Thursday, December 14, at 10:00 a.m. with Paul McFadden officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Richie Ermert, Joe Vincent, Matt Pruett, Kris Burrow, Shannon Chipman, Justin Manley, and Tyler Russom will serve as pallbearers.  Danny Shields, Bill Fisher, Michael Lloyd, Jeff Snyder, Brian Brightwell, Trevor Newman, Grant Pitcher, Roger Crow, and Chris Dickinson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
