Jerry Wayne Blount, Sr., 78, of Paragould, passed away August 14, 2022.  He was born August 27, 1943, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Rupert and Vivian Blount.  Jerry was a U.S. Navy Veteran proudly serving on USS Canberra.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Blount; sons, Jerry Wayne Blount, Jr. (Wisper) and Jason Hampton (Jamie); daughters, Heather Lewallen (Joey) and Cynthia Hampton; brother, Doyle Blount (Vicky); sister, Linda Wellman (Mike); and grandchildren, Gabe, Lincoln, and Atticus Lewallen, Jayse Hogan, Gabby and Brooksie Blount, and River Hampton.
