Jerry Dale Garner, 63, of Paragould, formerly of Arbyrd, MO, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born January 8, 1951 to the late Marvin and Neecie Garner. Jerry enjoyed fishing and was an avid deer hunter. He was employed at Tenneco for 24 years.Preceding him in death were his parents.Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Ernestine, of the home; one son and daughter in law, Matthew and Joni Garner of Lawrence, KS; one daughter and son in law, Kim and Trey Horner of Paragould; one brother, Kenneth Garner; one sister, Glenda Garner Smith; and 4 grandchildren, Christian, Emma, Adelyn, and Chase.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, October 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Michael Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Cardwell Cemetery.
