Jerry Dean Hill, 71, passed away January 22, 2017, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born March 24, 1945, in Grassy, MO, to Seth and Martha Hill. Jerry's daughter and grandchildren meant the world to him. Family and friends were most important. He was very noticeable for his charm and was loved by everyone, he never met a stranger. Jerry repaired televisions, loved watching old black and white movies, and loved repairing cars and trucks. He was a jack-of-all-trades. Jerry collected Elvis Presley Memorabilia.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one grandson, Casey Cash; three brothers, William Hill, Edward Hill and Raymond Hill; and four sisters, Ruby Skelton, Lena Buseik, May Volner and Mary Bradshaw.
Survivors include one daughter, Georgia Ann Cash, of Kennett, Mo; three brothers and sisters in law, Avery and Helen Hill, David and Patricia Hill, and Charles Hill; three sisters and brothers in law, Betty and Earl Zolman, Peggy and Everett Isom, and Roberta and Gerald Winn; one grandchild, Tyler Cash Wagnon and her husband, Tyler; two great granddaughters, Peighten and Cash Wagnon; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved him very much.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor Marlin Ray and Everett Isom officiating. Burial will be at Gainesville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Hill, Presley Isom, Johnny Zolman, Patrick Lenderman, Randy Lenderman and Adam Lenderman. Honorary Pallbearers are the nieces and nephews.
