Jesse "Crossbones" Cross, 38, of Lafe, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. He was born July 26, 1982, to Ronald Robert Cross, Sr. and Faye Ann Dulaney. Jesse loved gardening and cooking steaks on the grill. He served in the National Guard and was deployed once to Iraq and once to Afghanistan. Jesse loved his life and left this world way too soon.
Jesse was preceded in death by his niece Britney Cross and grandparents, Bob Blumer and Bill and Edna Dulaney.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Faye and Bill Miller; father, Ronald Cross, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Marjorie and Dean Darling; son, Kyle Cross of Mountain Home; daughter, Breannon Sunshine Cross of Mountain Home; brother, Ronnie Cross, Jr. of Jefferson, WI; and sister, Jenny Cross of Madison, WI.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 22, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
Shane Blumer, Ricky Peek, Michael Smith, John Paul Miller, Edgar Miller, and Kyle Cross will serve as pallbearers.
