Jimmie Lue Lyles, 86, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023. She was born March 29, 1936. Jimmie was raised in Walnut Corner and lived in Stanford, Arkansas. She was a retired cook at Stanford Public School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Sally (Lenderman) Reece; husband, Foy "Flop" Lyles; son, Timmie Ray Lyles; and son-in-law, Lee Cole.
Survivors include her children, Freddy Joe (Barb) Lyles of Olympic Village, MO, Barbra Sue Cole of Paragould, Robert Dale (Susie) Lyles of Light, Judy Gale (Ken) Jones of Brookland, Richard Wade Lyles of Rector, James Allen (Kathy) Lyles of Rector; grandchildren, Tiffaney Lyles Anderson, Rodney Cole, Jennifer Cole, Shannon Jones, Debra Lyles Benedict, Melissa Lyles Jenkins, Robin Lyles, Keith McDaniel, Cory Tracy, Wade Lyles, Cody Shear, Adam and Carson Barnum; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 24, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. A procession will leave Phillips Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. for a graveside service at Mountain Home Cemetery with Paul McFadden officiating.
Wade Lyles, Rodney Cole, Tristan Lyles, Shannon Jones, Brian Jones, Ronald Hopper, Caden Hunt, Chris Liles, and Andy Liles will serve as pallbearers.
