Jimmy W. Smith, 75, of Paragould, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 12, 2020. He was born March 6, 1945, to Ephraim and Dorothy Smith. Jim worked for Mellow Moon, Film Transit, and Coldstream Fishery. He was a member of Village Creek Church of Christ and a loving father and granddaddy.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley Mollock; and daughter in law, Donna Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Brenda S. Smith; son and daughter in law, Jeff and Sandra Smith of Paragould; daughters and sons in law, Shelia and Andrew Carter, Lesa and Gary Condray all of Paragould; brother, Bill Smith; grandchildren, Ashley Richardson, Curtis Carter, Alyssa Smith, Justin Brengard, Logan Smith, Madison Brengard; and great-granddaughters, Brooklyn, Peyton, Ellie and Rylee.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 14, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, at 10:00 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Sean Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

Justin Brengard, Curtis Carter, Logan Smith, Scott Kappelman, Steve Wright, and William Orr will serve as pallbearers.
