Joan Elmore, 72, of Paragould, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024. She was born January 16, 1951, in Paragould, to Jim and Ruth Fletcher. Family was very important to Joan, she loved spending time with her grandkids and family. She was also a very avid animal lover.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents  and brother, Greg Fletcher.

Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Lonnie Elmore; sons, David Elmore (Ashlee) of Jonesboro; daughter, Kim Schrantz (Steve) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Amelia Elmore, Will Schrantz, and Jack Schrantz.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 9, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Albert Camp officiating. Burial will follow at Finch Cemetery.
