Joan L. Williams, 82, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020.  She was born May 12, 1938, in San Bernardino, California.  She loved teaching Sunday school and was faithful to her church and family.  She loved kids and Joan was the World's Best Mom and the World's Best Friend.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Buford Wayne Williams, Sr.; daughter, Debra Williams; and son, Jerry Williams.

Survivors include her sons, Buford Wayne Williams, Jr. (Tracy R. Oglesby) and James L. Williams (Miriam); daughter, Cathy Williams; brother, Frank Allison (Pat); 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 28, at Gainesville Cemetery with Stacy Prater officiating.
