Jonathan Cody Noel, 34, of Paragould, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. He was born on September 30, 1988. Cody cherished time with his wife, children, and family.  One of Cody's talents and pleasure was grilling meals for two or one hundred and two.  Cody loved playing music and performing at local venues whenever he had the opportunity.  He also loved riding horses, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and woodworking with his wife and kids.  Cody was a hard worker, he was employed as a steel mill worker at Nucor.  Cody was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Noel and grandparents, Harold and Mozelle Dortch, Izetta Noel, and Carroll and Marcella Rogers.

Survivors include his parents, Kim and Gerald Varvil; stepmother, Jocelyn Noel; his wife of 14 years, Jessica Noel; children, Drake Wayne Noel, Darcy Grace Noel, Ryder James Noel; brothers, Josh (Presley) Noel, Zach (Lindsay) Noel; and step siblings, Matthew (Lesley) Hobbs and Jennifer Hobbs.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 22, from 4:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Packy Magel officiating.
