Joy A. Gregory, born on June 7, 1940, went to be with Jesus at the age of 84 on Monday, March 31, 2025. Joy worked a few years at Emerson, then went to work in retail Gibson's. She later worked until retiring at Walmart. Joy enjoyed spending time at the lake fishing and loved being with her family and friends.

Joy was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Norman and Bob Gregory; her parents, Dee and Dorothy Stroud; and siblings, Wayne Gould and James Stroud.

Survivors include her son, Mike (Lana) Norman; three bonus sons, Gerald (Patsy) Gregory, Doran (Carla) Gregory, and Donnie (Linda) Gregory; sisters, Elba James and Donna Shatley; brother, George (Vickie) Stroud; grandchildren, Shauna Norman, Michael Norman, and Jake Norman; eleven bonus grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson, Lorenzo Pantoja.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 2, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Gerald Gregory officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

David Pantoja, Andrew Pantoja, Issac Resendez, Armando Resendez, Zeke Resendez, and Michael Norman will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Jake Norman, Hunter Norman, Richard Carter, and Luke Carter.
