Joyce Gale Harper, 75, of Paragould, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019. She was born November 8, 1943, to Ed and Vera Rodgers. Joyce's treasures of this world were not possessions, it was her family.  She loved her family unconditionally.  She considered it her blessing to care for and love her family.  You knew she loved you.  She not only showed it, but the words "I love you" were consistent in any and every conversation.  She never told her loved ones goodbye.  She only said I love you.  So today we do not say goodbye to Mom, but "I love you!"

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Glen Rodgers, Beverly Rodgers, Paul Rodgers, and Dale Rodgers.

Survivors include her sons and daughters in law, Brian and Michelle Swink, Brad and Susan Swink, Lawson and Amanda Harper; brothers, Steve Rodgers and David Rodgers; sisters, Nileane Drope, Melba Williams, Linda Stuart, Bonnie Johnson; grandchildren, Krista Hicks, Alexander Swink, Brianna Swink, Addison Swink, Ashton Chancellor, Jared Stockman, Jonathan Stockman, Jade Stockman, Cam Harper, Caiden Harper, and great-grandchildren, Reid Chancellor, Kaitlyn Hicks, and Carter Hicks.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 4, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will be Tuesday, March 5, at Hebron Cemetery in Meridian, Mississippi.
