J.T. OliveJanuary 21, 1929 - April 22, 2014 Jarvis Truman (J.T.) Olive, 85, of Paragould, passed away April 22, 2014 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born January 21, 1929 to the late James Nolan and Floy Hester Olive in England, Arkansas. A Methodist, Mr. Olive was a member of Woods Chapel for nearly forty years. Recently, he and the love of his life, Willodean Olive, joined Griffin Memorial Church.Preceding him in death were his parents; step father, Lloyd Hanawalt; two brothers, James Buford and Clifford Odean; father and mother in law, Granger and Gladys McDaniel; sister in law, Anna Faye Stevenson; son in law, Joey Cofield.Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Willodean Olive; son and daughter in law, Sonny and Robin Olive; daughter, Donna Sparks-Cofield, all of Paragould; sisters and brothers in law, Barbara Nell and Dale Cook and Neva Louise and Walter Wells, all of Iowa; grandchildren, Shannan (Steve) Ellenburg, Shane (Charlene) Sparks, Shawn (Kristen) Sparks, Shantel (Jarrod) Graves, Russell Prall, all of Paragould, J.P. (Sheila) Prall, of Hot Springs, AR; great grandchildren, Clara Ellenburg, Fisher Sparks, Kadence Graves, Brooke Stallcup, Jimmy Stallcup, Emma Stallcup, all of Paragould, Jaxon Prall of Hot Springs, AR.; special niece, Barbara Ann (Kenny) Wright; son in law, Rick Sparks, both of Paragould.Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 25 at Shiloh Cemetery with Jason Sutfin officiating. Procession will begin at Phillips Funeral Home.Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Arant, Jimmy Stallcup, Sammy McPherson, Mark Tipton, Charlie Murray, Mike Rudi, Rodney Jorgenson, and Tim Cook.
