Juanita M. Wilborn, 92, of Paragould, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022.  She was born April 30, 1930, in Manila, Arkansas, to Elmer and Sarah Jackson.

Juanita has been reunited with her husband Levi Wilborn and they are walking the streets of Heaven hand-in-hand.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Levi Wilborn; brothers, Otis Jackson and Wesson Jackson; and sister, Eva Jackson.

Juanita lived an amazing life full of love for her family and friends.  She returned to Arkansas in 1992 with Levi after over 40 years in Salinas, California.  She and Levi settled in Paragould from Cherokee Village in 1998.  She loved her Sunday School class at Westview Baptist.

Juanita was a wonderful grandmother who took great pride in spoiling and teaching her grandchildren.  Her greatest joy came from teaching.  She taught as a Teacher's Assistance for many years within the North Monterey County School District.  In addition, she mentored many children and young women as a devout Sunday School Teacher at Prunedale Baptist Church and the 1st Baptist Church of Hardy, AR.

Her independent spirit was an inspiration to all who knew her.  She was truly a classic.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Michele Wilborn of Kapolei, Hawaii; grandchildren, Dennis Wilborn, Jr. (Bomi) of South Korea and Brandon Wilborn (Sharon) of Meridian, Idaho; great-grandchildren, Elani Wilborn, David Wilborn, Levi Wilborn, Reagan Wilborn, and Olina Wilborn; sisters-in-law, Louise Jackson of Oregon and Jeffry Tericho of California; nieces and nephews, Mary Whatley, Sheila Law, Andrea Dighera, Debra Whitlock, David Smith, Donna Lenz, Daniel Morris, Anita Potts, Rita Williams, Alvin Francis and Rosa Fairman.

Juanita's Celebration of Life Service will be November 8, 2022. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 8, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Westview Baptist Church.  The Celebration of Life Memorial service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Westview Baptist Church with Marc Reeves officiating.  Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.
