Wilma June (Tabor) Chesser, 81, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.  She was born July 27, 1940, in Paragould, to Russel and Dorothy Tabor.  June was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She attended Browns Chapel Baptist Church.

June was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Charles Lynn Tabor; brother, Bill Tabor; sister, Gloria "Tooter" Lashley; and sister-in-law, Linda Tabor.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Harlin Chesser; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Lynda Chesser; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Jenny Tabor, Don and Lissa Tabor; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Jim Cupp; grandchildren, Brittany (Alex) Burroughs and Blake Chesser; brother-in-law, Sherry Lashley; sisters-in-law, Pat Tabor and Pat Chesser; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 8, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Royce Boling and Tyler Garmrath officiating.  Burial will follow at Browns Chapel Cemetery.

Blake Chesser, Alex Burroughs, Keith Metheny, Phillip Dunn, Farrell Gibson, and Rodney Eaker will serve as pallbearers.

If one wishes to make a memorial, June would be honored by contributions to Browns Chapel Cemetery.
