Karen (Owen) Wooldridge, 69, a beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2023, in Jonesboro, AR. Born on November 13, 1953, in Paragould, AR.

Karen was the cherished daughter of the late C.L and Marilyn Owen. Karen leaves behind siblings, Keith Owen of Mountain View, AR, and Jan (Gaylon) Rogers of Paragould, AR. Karen was also a beloved aunt to her nephews, Casey and Clint Rogers, whom she loved dearly. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 43 years Rick Wooldridge, and their marriage was filled with laughter, adventure, and unconditional love.

A proud 1971 Marmaduke graduate, Karen continued her education at Arkansas State University (ASU), where she explored her passions and prepared for a life of service and success. Her love for learning was infectious, and she encouraged everyone around her to pursue their dreams relentlessly.

Karen's spirit of adventure was well-known among her friends and family. She had an insatiable love for travel and saw much of the world, her favorite destinations including Hawaii, Germany, Alaska, and Scotland. She loved the thrill of discovering new places, cultures, and cuisines. Karen's road trips were legendary, filled with laughter, and the occasional detour that often led to the most memorable experiences. Karen was always known for the beauty of her flower beds at her home.

One of Karen's most endearing traits was her love for animals. She had a special place in her heart for her cats and dogs, who were more than pets to her; they were family. She believed in providing a loving home for all creatures, big and small.
