Kelly Clark Palmer, 55 of Paragould, departed this world September 17, 2015 at home in Paragould where she wanted to be. She was born Kelly Marie Clark September 17, 1960 to Gerald Clark and the late Gwendolyn Kay Clark in Coldwater, Michigan. Kelly had a degree in business administration and worked in several Paragould businesses prior to her illness. The occupation that was her true calling was being a devoted mother and grandmother. She was never happier than when she was surrounded by her family.

Preceding her in death was her mother; second mother, Anita Clark; and her brother, Richard Clark.

In addition to her father, Kelly is survived by her brother, Kevin Clark of Paragould, sons, Brian Poyner and his wife Cyndi of Seguin, Texas, and Casey Hyde and his girlfriend Brandi Allison of Paragould; daughter, Christy Staton and her husband Zach also of Paragould; seven grandchildren, Kali Poyner, Erica Poyner, Quintin Poyner, Zachary Lawrence Staton, Valen Poyner, Joshua Lawrence Staton, and Ean Staton; a dear friend, Reetha Ladyman; numerous family and friends, and her companion, Tank, her dog.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Elder Vonda Boston Keasler officiating.
