Kenneth Chesley Box passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on October 14, 1962, Kenneth's love for the great outdoors and the tranquility it offered was matched only by the joy he found in the company of his loved ones.

Kenneth's passion for nature was reflected in his favorite pastimes: hunting and fishing.

Professionally, Kenneth dedicated many years to working on airplanes at FedEx in Memphis. His career was not just a job but a journey that allowed him to travel the globe, experiencing diverse cultures and forging lasting friendships. His colleagues remember him as a man who was steadfast in everything he did, with a work ethic that inspired those around him.

Kenneth's legacy is one of faith, commitment, and the enduring bonds he built through trusting God. He was a friend to many and always ready with a story or a helping hand.

He always enjoyed spending time with his family the most.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Joe Henderson Box and grandparents, Ted and Glendola Box, Thomas and Rosie Hazlewood; and son-in-law, Larry Ray Hensley.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Donna Box; mother, Janie Price (Clifford); son, Cameron Box; daughter, Kasey Box; brother, Bobby Box (Tina); sister, Courtney Price; grandchildren, Lyann Hensley, Talon Hensley, Mackenzie Briney, and Issac Box; and lifelong friends from the Air Force, James "Jimmy" Perritt, Larry Lorden, and Ellis Twine "The Original E. T."

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Saturday, March 29, at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow at New Friendship Cemetery.
