Kevin Allen, 53, of Jonesboro, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018.  Kevin was born on March 26, 1965, to Ledford and Zelma Allen.  Kevin was a volunteer police officer at the Indianapolis Police Department and a fire fighter for the Wayne Township in Indiana before moving to Arkansas.  Kevin was an active member of the Philadelphia Fire Department, in which he was a C.T.O. instructor.  He was also a reserve deputy for the Greene County Sheriff's Department.  In his free time, Kevin loved to fish and watch movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna Redman; and brother, Willie Reynolds.

Kevin is survived by his brothers, Dale Allen, Ed Drews, and James Reynolds; and his sisters, Shannon Drews and Tammy Crouse.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 18, 2018, from 10 A.M. until service time at 11 A.M. at Phillips Funeral Home, with Danny Turner officiating.   Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery with Fire Department Honors.  Pallbearers are Terry Jones, Derek Patsey, Jacob Winn, Eric Sherman, Wayne Winn and Zach Riggs.  Honorary Pallbearers will be the Philadelphia Fire Department.
