Lafon Pollock, 78, of Paragould, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018. She was born August 3, 1939, to John and Loueller Hall. Lafon loved flowers and having family cookouts. She was a great baker and enjoyed canning. Lafon was a member of the First Church of God. She enjoyed playing bingo at the nursing home and attending the singings. She enjoyed going to flea markets and had a lively personality. She loved her dog, Sassy. Lafon loved and appreciated her caregivers, especially Lisa Gough.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arlin Pollock; son, Jimmy Pollock; daughter, Betty Jane Pollock; sister, Glenda Allred; and daughters in law, Carolyn and Nancy Pollock.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Rick Pollock, Gary Pollock, Terry and Tammy Pollock; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Jerry Don Clifford; twelve grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 26, from 6-8 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. On Wednesday, June 27, a procession will leave Phillips Funeral Home at 11 a.m. for a graveside service at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Kevin Edgar officiating.

Pallbearers include Gary Lee Pollock, Terry J. Clifford, Chris Brown, Brad Miller, Kevin Brock, and R.J. Pollock. Honorary Pallbearers include Shannon Lee, Jerry Pollock, Adam Pollock, Josh Pollock, and Daniel Greenway.
