Lamoyne Richardson, Jr., 76, of Lafe, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024. He was born July 31, 1947. J. R., a cowboy at heart, enjoyed fishing and feeding animals such as deer and birds. He was a very skilled carpenter and loved old model cars. J. R. was a devoted Christian man and a proud republican.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamoyne Sr., and Bernice Richardson; son, Trey Richardson; daughter, Christine Camp; and sisters, Kathi Hensley and Jenny Worthington.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Jerry Richardson; daughters, Shelly Brumley, Deanna Dickens; sister, Gale Springer (Johnny); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his dog, Sasha.
