Larry Don Cox May 28, 1947 - November 9, 2014

Larry Cox, 67, of Paragould, passed away November 9, 2014, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born May 28, 1947, in Marmaduke to the late Everitt P. and Pansy Cox. Larry was of the Christian faith and retired from Emerson Electric after 34 years of service.

Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, Everitt Junior Cox, Price Cox, and Chester Cox; two sisters, Patricia Smith and Peggy Phillips.

Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, 10 months, and 1 week, Barbara Cox; one daughter, Stacey Brown; one son, David Cox; three sisters, Louetta Boza, Flora Sullivan, Carolyn Manuel; one brother in law, Bob Smith; three grandchildren, Kali Marie Cox, Jonathan Cox, and Taylor Brown; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 11 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Church of Christ. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. also at Hillcrest Church of Christ with Gary Cremeens officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Steve Richey, Keith Richey, Marty Phillips, Rob Smith, James Boza, and Jim McEntire will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Holcomb, Bob Smith, and Gary Roberts.
