Larry Gene Huckabee passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on June 14, 1953.

Larry was a man who found joy in the great outdoors, with fishing being one of his most cherished activities. His love for music was equally profound, as he enjoyed playing tunes.

Known for his ability to make friends wherever he went, Larry's warm smile and hearty laugh drew people to him. He was a big jokester, always ready with playful prank, bringing laughter and lightness to those around him. His sense of humor was a gift that he generously shared.

Above all, Larry was a family man. His devotion to his boys was unwavering, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments. The love he had for his grandchildren knew no bounds, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His role as a patriarch was one he held dear, and his guidance and support were the cornerstones of the family.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Eugene Huckabee and Maxine Carlton; son, Calub Huckabee; and brothers, Ricky Huckabee and Johnnie Huckabee.

Survivors include his son, Jody Huckabee (Allison); sister, Glenna Huckabee (Mike Clark); grandchildren, Abigail Felkins (Garrett), Deklyn Huckabee, Ledger Huckabee; great-granddaughter, Stevie Felkins; nieces and nephews, Sammy McDaniel (Nicole), Micah Bell (Rodney), Josh Sims, Jacob Huckabee (Toby); and numerous other family members.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 18, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Bro. Albert Camp officiating.
